We saw the Desert Rose Band Reunion show on Friday night at the Cache Casino, north of Sacramento.  It was an intimate venue for their absolute killer performance.  They played for an hour and a half, did a great assortment of DRB songs, along with Wheels, Together Again, and a Jorgenson inspired The Price I Pay.  John was phenomenal, bringing in some Django riffs to his leads.  He and Jay Dee played off of each other, never missing a beat.  These guys were well rehearsed.  Chris sounded good, but I could tell that his back was still bothering him.  What a thrill hearing the original members of this fine group, having great fun on the stage.  Can't wait to see them again at the Birchmere in August.
